Role, Task, and Context Framing

Frame prompts so the model knows the job, the audience, the input, and the expected shape of the answer.

Lesson

Reliable prompts start by removing ambiguity. The model needs to know what it is doing, who it is helping, and what counts as done.

Context should support the task without burying the instruction. A clean prompt makes it easy to tell facts from commands.

Objectives

Write role and task statements.
Separate context from instructions.
Specify outputs clearly.

Practice

Rewrite a vague prompt into role, task, context, and output sections.
Define a one-sentence success criterion.

Next action

Create a reusable prompt template for a repeated workflow.
